We arrived in Vientiane around 2.30pm after our spontaneous decision to head straight there instead of going adventuring in the caves. We awoke early (4.30am!) yet again in Siem Reap, this time for our bus to Vientiane in Laos. Our route to Laos was not very well thought out as we virtually had to go back to Phnom Penh and round in a big circle! However this was our only choice so we prepared ourselves for a long journey. We're on our way!!
We have finally started the travelling that we were starting to believe wouldn't actually happen!! After saying our goodbyes at the airport, with lots of hugs and a few tears we were on our way to hopefully the biggest adventure of our lives so far.
The flights were fine, lovely in fact, but i'm sure Emirates is far too posh for two travlaar's …
