Out for a day today to Mississippi's Hill Country. We stop by the ruins of an old Juke Joint and enjoy the most amazing Southern lunch plate at Annie's and a bit of town sightseeing in Holly Springs. This part of Mississippi looks very different and indeed hilly.

Despite our early arrival, we tried our luck to see if we could check into the Ole Miss Motel (34.363658, -89.515877) a bit early. No problem as the place was practically empty. The Ole Miss is certainly not glamorous, with a large rectangular parking lot in the center with rooms configured along it's perimeter like a giant 'U'. But the room was cheap, clean and adequate.
