I had kind of decided not to do entries while we were visiting the 'home country' but after hearing from quite a few of you - and getting chewed out - I've changed my mind!! It's not that we haven't been doing anything, we've actually been running around like chickens when our heads cut off.

I wish to make a complaint about FALSE ADVERTISEMENT against the Hilton chain. The Hilton representative has 100% refused to give us our money back after a most unsatisfactory stay at a Hampton Inn & Suites Modesto-Salida. Der letzte National Park auf unserer US Tournee ist der Yosemite. Hier gibt es Fluesse, Seen, Berge und Tausende von Baeumen...ein wahrer Wanderer-Traum! Leider hatten wir kaum Zeit zu wandern, muessen dies aber irgendwann noch nachholen :-)
