... Wisconsin, we proudly donned some cheese heads and Sammy got his picture made with the giant farmer holding cheese and a sausage. You'd have to be there to understand. Minnesota has really taken on environmental issues with hundreds of huge windmills. The last stop of the day was dinner in Sioux Falls, SD. We ate at Bob's made famous in the Roadfood book. It was as described. We love it and the owners. Time for bed. On to Mt Rushmore........

For $44 USD we get a king-size bed, free wifi, cable tv, an outdoor pool, and the breakfast - phenomenal! There are waffle makers that you can help yourself to, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausages, cereal, bagels, pastries and American style grits! They sure do value their food here, especially in quantity!<br>

In the state of cheese!

... a market-lover was coming, because as it so happens, today was the market's opening day! Probably as a result of this opening, combined with the sunny 25-degree weather, crowds of people gathered around the State Capitol. The market offers everything from Wisconsin cheese and bison meat to organic dog treats and tye-dye everythings. I spent the afternoon walking through the university campus and along the waterfront. The weather changed by early evening ...

Madison for the Day

Today was spent with a small trip to visit my friend Sarah in Madison. We went down to state street where we ate at my favorite gellato cafe. We spent the afternoon going into boutiques trying on random dresses. I realized how many restruants and other places there are that I would love to stop and try down there. After that part of our day we sat down by the water near ...

If you have any contact information for the other Americans who previously worked at the center/missions I thought that perhaps they may be a good contact to share their experiences with me. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you so very much for your time and consideration. I am counting the days until I leave for Addis Ababa... Sincerely, Amber Lynn Siewert
