... all-women's college.  The University of Chester is the exact opposite.  On one hand, I am super excited for this change.  As much as I love Agnes Scott, it will be exciting to see what a big, co-ed school is like; academically, socially, the whole nine yards.  However, this unknown territory also comes with a lot of nervousness.  I basically feel like I'm a high school senior getting ready for college all over ...

... they couldn't fix the problem we would have to switch planes, tick tock, tick tock. After an eternity the captain announced that all was well and that we would shortly be taking off. Phew! 40 minutes late, if we had known before what we knew then we would have had breakfast and saved a couple of bucks and gray hairs. This has been quite a trip to plan for...starting with picking dates to learning how to pack 14 days into just a back pack!

I'm taking mom on this trip & it is our first time to Italy. It's my first time to Europe so who better than my mom to conquer this milestone with?

impression of it when young was formed by Theodore Dreiser’s” American Tragedy”,
in which it features prominently. I think that was set in the early 1900s, so
my original impression may have been a little warped. Denver is now a much bigger
city than Kansas City, but it was not the case that long ago. However, my
friend Andy, about five years older than I am, can relate that when he was a

stores; tall-spired churches, the Douglas County Courthouse, and other
attractive buildings in the native white limestone abound; and the in-town condo
living and loft market in Lawrence is clearly buzzing with several new
buildings under construction. I dinnered, had a few good homemade brews at the
Free State Brewing Company, and concluded Lawrence is one of America’s nicer
      college towns!
