Based on the positive feedback from Patti and Mark, here is our next installment of summer pictures.
Saturday August 31 was move-in day at Princeton for freshmen participating in the Outdoor Adventure (six days of hiking and camping in the wilderness). It was also move-in day for Jessica at Columbia, but she came with us to Princeton to see Michael off and she moved in on Sunday September 1st.

... out in their "land of the free", "proud to be American" tee shirts and caps with some waving the stats and stripes. We might think them to be jack asses but they're proud ones. It is a real pity we do not have a National Day in the UK when we can be overtly proud to be British without the fear of offending anyone or been thought of as racist by any of the UKs ...
... guys in it, but no table service), and then headed to dinner. Dinner was at the Salt Creek Grille, and fantastic, the garlic bread was to die for. The only negative was that it was really loud with the live band. But the meal and wine was excellent, and it was in walking distance to the hotel.
Back at the hotel, we join Elly and Sean in their room because they brought a bottle of Jameson's. After the nightcap, we went back to our room and crashed.
... attractive than I thought. The bits and pieces of reality shows and movies on New Jersey have left unfavorable images of this state on my mind. The city of Princeton is charming and alluring. It's making me want to be a student in the nearby Princeton University.
I am in the middle of an annual commencement exercise. Visiting colleges and universities is becoming my ritual where ever I go - it seems. Few hours here, I am ready to head back to Philly ...
I never thought so many people would travel dressed up for St. Patrick's Day until today. The airport is flooded with green shirts, hats and scarves celebrating the day when everyone can pretend to be Irish.
