This morning we made our way to the corner of Madison Avenue and 30th street to meet an ex MGC student who I taught Psychology last year. Ruby attended an audition for the American College of Dramatic Arts in Melbourne last year and was offered a place at the school. We got to NYC last night and easily caught a taxi to our apartment. Matthew, the owner of the apartment, met us and gave us the tour. It is the bottom floor of a brownstone 4 story house in Harlem at 137th street. We unpacked and went to bed... ... t see public toilets anywhere and eating places are really strict about not letting you use their toilets unless you dine there. So we seem to constantly be looking out for a toilet, especially for John-Henry who has the worst bladder ever. We've had some pretty desperate moments. One where I virtually begged a guy in a bar to let JH use their horrible smelly toilet.
And New York is STILL one of my favourite cities in the world - it's a total buzz and I love it!
