After debarking from the plane, I had to wait forever for my backpack. At least my backpack still doesn't weigh that much. But once I got through customs, I realised that I had left my colombia guide book on the plane,and that had the address of my hostel. ... 15pm and 2hrs later, we were asked to reset our clocks to around 2am dawn... and it just got dark, just like that..

So when the pilot told us that we are landing in Minneapolis, I immediately opened my window seat and took into account all the vast farms (murag Farmtown nga real! haha), then i saw the Americanflag and when that officer told us Welcome to US, i almost wanted to lie down and rest for 24hrs. :)

Dan and I are traveling to Munich with 16 other friends to attend Oktoberfest on 9/27/09! I had the opportunity to attend Oktoberfest in Munich with Jan, Rachel and KT in 1999 and it was an experience I won't forget! Now, there are many of us going and my first European vacation with Dan.

We depart at 3:10 pm on 9/25 and arrive in Munich at 8:55 am 9/26.

I have recently become afflicted with pre-travel jitters. Passport and tickets are all ready, bags are cleaned and ready, but there is one problem...

... for Willmar and Excelsior, we got back on the road to head out on Hwy. 7 for an overnight in Willmar with the Wedel's.  We dropped off the presents at the Nelson's and got to Willmar around 8:00pm. Mark and Julie had pizza waiting from Papa Murphy's and we chatted with them and the kids, played with new kittens-Pumpkin and Oreo, and had a good time.  By 11:00, it was time for bed for all of us!
