... pretty exciting waking up on this morning, ready to go to a NASCAR night race. We packed everything we needed, warm clothes, raincoats, etc and headed to the Hendrick Motorsport Buildings where we got to see a lot of the race cars from previous years, visited the museum and saw some of the most amazing trophies. They have 4 drivers in the NASCAR series, cars 5, 24, 48 and 88. Each driver has ...

Wednesday was a really exciting day with us jumping in the car heading south through Tennessee to a small county called Lynchburg. It was a couple of hours drive ...

Virginia!)

We had a late dinner after checking into our motel. Again, I had a dinner of ...

Mary was just a bit concerned that we wouldn't make it through customs after setting for 30 minutes on the taxiway waiting for our gate to be ready, but we made to our connection with time to spare. In fact after boarding we had another 30 minute delay for an attitude display ...

We decided to head to Charlotte, North Carolina today. We were not sure what to expect. We have really started to enjoy the adventure of going into an area we are unfamiliar with and tripping over local "treasures". We rarely have any kind of time restrictions, so we are able to get lost and then found—while remaining stress free.

Charlotte is almost 2 hours from Jackson Springs, which is farther ...
