Now it was finally time to go back and rest. We all had some quiet time in the room, and then Cheryl took the kids to the pool at the hotel. Nice pool with a fair slide, but none of the Disney pools seem to be all that much fun and a little boring. I saw the Hollywood sign a short time after joining Santa Monica Boulevard before entering the southern edge of Hollywood on the way to the obviously well-off Beverley Hills. I could almost smell the ocean as I entered Santa Monica and neared the official end of the road at the ...

... before heading to meet the group at the front entrance so that we could head over to California Adventure park for the World of Colour show. We had bought fast passes for the show that morning and had a very good view. Even though we saw it three years ago while we were in Disney it was still absolutely magical, and seemed to go by in no time at all. We walked back to our hotel after the show catching up with the others on what rides they had ...

We arrived at our accommodation in Anaheim and were very excited it was a only a short walk, across the road to DISNEYLAND!!!!
The Abby's Anaheimer is a small motel, no frills but has clean rooms, bathtub, free internet, free parking and free breakfast (fruitloops, croissants, juice and coffee). At $160 for 3 nights for a family of four, across the road to DISNEYLAND, what a bargain! We rate this 4.5 out of ...
