... it's the contrasts that stick with me. On the one Han you have the small and harsh cells. Open to the elements and probably v v cold in the winter months. The isolation cells that would have been depressingly dark and kept prisoners locked up in for 23 hrs a day. But then, in contrast, there are the stunning views towards SF and the Golden Gate Bridge.
