      Buffalo to New York

A travel blog entry by marcellinousa on Dec 23, 2014

... bought a few things and went back to the hotel it was getting late, so we ate a few snacks and went to bed..... But not necessarily to sleep. New York!!! Why are you so noisy??? Really, what is the point of honking that horn for so long when clearly the cars are not going to move? I was sure the fire department (which was located just outside our room) were also having pre Christmas fun by setting off their sirens on and off, on and off all night long! ...

Our breakfast on the train to Buffalo was actually very nice. The head waiter was very solicitous and friendly and we were one of the early couples having washed and dressed in our bunks, the only real option. We were supposed to get to Buffalo by 8:30 am, and our train to Niagara didn't leave until 3:02pm. So we were not disappointed that we didn't get in until 12:00. Actually something exciting did happen, but that story shall remain ...

... Books included, Jackie spent the princely sum of $10.26 on everything she bought. Not a bad deal!
Back on the bus and over to their house to help Jackie carry the shopping in, for me to look at the place, and for Raquel to take Spike for a walk.

I finally got to meet the pets! Spike and Winky and Fancy, the dogs, and Erin the cat. Didn't meet Frasier, but he's not really Raquel's, he's Jackie's. Spike, Winky and Fancy kind of took to me *giggles* Erin was a ...

... s - even if they were side by side.
I could get lost in the Niagara Falls gambling casino... maybe that it is the idea - have the casino
so big that people get lost in it and cannot find their way out and just stay there..
There was a big sign pointing the way to the Responsible Gambling Centre - what a joke..
I do not gamble and am not interested in gambling - maybe I should have checked out the
responsible Gambling centre.. and given them a big ...
