This hotel is very nice with a central location. It's right near the lake and walking distance to the Rock n Roll HoF. They offer free shuttle to many attractions.

I can't say Cleveland was ever a city in my top 25 to visit but I went there nonetheless. The downtown area was extremely quiet for a Saturday but the weather was beautiful so walking around was particularly nice. There are plenty of hotels, bars and shopping within walking distance to the ballpark. The ballpark itself is a bit older than some but …
... or someone else really did watch over us I am sure of it. I planned the ride home coming northern route (80) for several reasons. One being that we hadn't been through Nebraska or Iowa on the bike but also to stay away from the southern routes. We hardly ever play children's music for our kids. We did initially, but those were so mind-numbing that we sort of gave up on that and switched to classic rock. When asked, Milo has been saying for a few years now that Led Zeppelin is his favorite band (and, to Mark's annoyance, that the Beatles are too sappy). Noah mentions the Doors as ...
We left South Bend early so we could drive 4 1/2 hours across Indiana and into Ohio to watch the Akron Rubber Ducks play an afternoon game (Sophie really wanted to see two of her favorite things - baseball and rubber ducks - together). Canal Park is a great little ballpark and the Rubber Ducks won, so we had fun, but there wasn't a single rubber duck to be found in the souvenir shop. From there we drove on, out of Ohio, a little way through Pennsylvania, and into New York for a camping ...
