    ... s baptism on Saturday and we had a nice time visiting with family friends at a reception afterwards.

    It was wonderful to have a few extra days with family before heading north and especially to stock up on Caitlyn cuddles!! (You can probably tell how much I'm going to miss this munchkin based on the number of pictures of her here:)) Thank goodness for Facetime and Skype!

    After about a week driving up the east coast, I arrived in Rochester in time to join Mom and Dad for the Herb & Wine Festival on Cayuga Lake. We had a great time tasting wine on a beautiful spring day and ended the day with 6 bottles and about 30 plants to prove it:)

    ... you read about in Pillars of the Earth – gothic style with stain glass windows, buttresses, arched domes – almost too much to take in. As much a museum and a church; spectacular but not as reverent as Santa Cruz. Right next to the cathedral is the Royal Palace, home of Filipe VI.
