We heart Austin, TX!!!!
This is a super cool city. Granted we have only seen one area of Austin, but what we have seen we love. Our hotel is right in the heart of the Downtown. Walking distance to pretty much everything you would want to do, shop, grab a bite to eat, go for jog, see a movie or just sit and people watch on the capital lawn or one of the many parks along the river. 6th Street is where the party is at and most of the bars ...

San Antonio to Stonewall to Austin, TX
This morning was a slower start to the day than usual, however, that was somewhat predictable. We got up and started heading out to the San Antonio Mission National Historical Park which is comprised of four missions. Mission San Juan, San Jose, Conception, and Espada. They together form the NHP and are on ...
Alaska Airlines I hear just started doing this direct flight from Seattle to Austin which is cool because it got me here in 3.5 hours. Another 20 min public bus ride for 75 cents and I was at my hotel. I spent the early evening walking around from 6th @ Guadelupe down to 2nd, as far east cas Neche, north to the State Capitol and a bunch of streets in between.
I did the game of count the ...
Made my way back to Austin today via Triumph. I had a marvelous drive for a loooong stretch over speeding thanks to a vehicle ahead of me with a radar and a indicative scrawling in the dust of his trunk, "SAFE HAVEN". I took his word for it and it got me from Everman to Austin in just at 2 hours. Fun drive. It was a very meaningful trip all around and it is nice to be back and cozy. Coming future looks very interesting.
... paper is brand name, the towels have patterns, and there is a double shower curtain. Christen was excited that there is a large flat screen tv that swivels to face either the bedroom or the living room. And might we also mention that there were chocolate chip cookies at check-in?
- Drove down Guadalupe Street by the University of Texas. Cool area.
- Commented on how cool the architecture is in Austin. Bri was ...

1. The girl says she definitely wants kids and couldn’t date anyone who doesn’t, and in fact people who "hate" children (the way I obviously do) must hate themselves and mankind and Jesus. So I find out she wasn’t real thrilled about the first topic. And she’s ****** because she now realizes she shouldn’t have ordered a salad because it doesn’t matter if I think ...
... home, after only a couple of years abroad, she turned 1. To recap, my brother had a girlfriend a day before I left, then when I got home, he had a 1-year-old. Time flies.
Eric is basically just a giant teddy bear, so he's an awesome dad. Libby was tons of fun to be around and we caught her at an amazing age. In front of our eyes, in the few months we were back in the States, she went from crawling to standing, then ...
... also rearrange some of our stuff, our lounge chairs, which we put inside once the slides are in,got stuck in a slide. Time to find a new place for them, we moved things around and the chairs are packed away. Also a hinge holding a door broke, I replaced the other one,and we had an extra hinge a while back, but that was a while back and awhile back means who knows where it is,no sign of the hinge, and will have to buy another one once we get settle in Pa. The cats are doing good, Daisy ...
Austin, Texas, United States jkessy... and one of the few places where they are so good, I like to drink them even at night). The only complaint about Lala's is the smoke, but its such a great dive that I deal. Saturday morning I got up earlier than I really wanted to and Jody picked me up to go running at Town Lake. We planned to run 10 miles, but Jody was feeling a little rough from Opal's so we ended up just doing about 7.5. We ran with some of her running group friends and it was the perfect day ...
Austin, Texas, United States stacyb17I spent a few days in Austin and vicinity. Stayed a couple of days in Luling at my sister's new house. Bud and I rented Segways and did a tour of downtown Austin -- the Capitol and the Bremond Block of Victorian houses. We both knew more about Austin history and landmarks than our guide, Dee! But she was fun! I tried to go swimming at my favorite pool, Barton Springs, but it was closed for cleaning after the heavy Spring rains. Maybe next year ...
