... This means that often at gas stops I don't even take off my hat unless it is hurting me. I don't even remove it to drink water! If a little spills inside I am OK with that!

We treated ourselves to breakfast delivery to the room at 9am, as we were all up late because of the time difference of 2 hours. After packing up, we walked across the street to walk over the Waco Suspension Bridge which, when it was built in 1870, was the longest suspension bridge west of the Mississippi. Wow, so it's been awhile since I last wrote. The last two days of our four day stand in Edinburg, Texas were a disaster. A torrential downpour hit the city about 30 minutes after our last show ended on Saturday and since our lot was primarily this clay/dirt/sand mixture (or at least it felt like it), we all woke up Sunday morning to the biggest, stickiest mud pit/quicksand I’ve ever encountered.
