The weekend revellers are absent in the morning and we enjoy the beautiful outdoor pool set-up in peace... no pumping music and only a few other punters. Hilli reads, dozes in the sun, crochets and swims. Guy combines reading, scribbling and the occasional dip with visits to an equally quiet spa area. Lovely. The hotel runs a bus-shuttle service to a beach it advertizes as its own... the 'lighthouse beach'. Guy decides to investigate on ...

As we crossed the border however ...

We have really enjoyed this bit of Bulgaria. The weather could have been kinder but in the summer this area could be a really nice holiday (if your a golfer!).
