    ... rose is in full bloom out in the back garden. Daisy has taken some pictures for me which I will be pleased to see. This is the first year it has really come into bloom since we planted it. It is called Mdme. Alfred Carriere.
    Buddy came over and we slow cooked brisket for dinner and then ice cream. A very nice family evening. Another good FT with Mike and Asher up in Boston. It's a wonderful way to keep in touch. ...

    ... Chris and Julia’s grandmother) she would have been stirring it no problem because Nonna’s have magical strength when it comes to food preparation. By the end of the night we were both full, not from eating the cookies, but from licking our fingers. We didn’t have time to decorate the sugar cookies that night but it just meant a fun activity for another day. Chris spent the evening watching sports and playing videogames so I think he had a good night ...

    ... and headed for the ocean. You can see in the pictures and the video that the water was not very high but Jeff was able to bend down so Andrew could be in the water. He started kicking his legs right away, just like he had done when we put his feet in the pool. Apparently he knows what he is doing ;-)

    We feel really blessed to have been able to take this extended trip and are really enjoying our time together as a family :)

    ... Eventually we found exactly what we wanted at Gander`s which also had the largest selection of guns I have even seen, including some AK47s (but these turned out to be pellet [air] guns).

    One more day until I meet Kluane. I am excited, nervous and excited! Cliff has taken such care in making her safe, comfortable and beautiful over the last month. I am ready to meet her and to see Cliff- I miss you, Love! She will get more coat a paint, an extra one for good measure and her bottom a new coat of royal blue. She looks like a Sabres sailboat to me! One more day! Nicely done Clifford, I can wait to see ...
