    i finally get to the staple centre and seem the beaming lights and loud music. it is a long wait but it is worth it as soon as i scan my ticket and walk in and see all the fans chanting. finally get to my seat and see the players warming up. my favourite part of the whole day was when Blake Griffin received an alley oop pass from Chris Paul and slam dunked it in the hoop and all the crowd went wild. ...

    ... over the park momentarily before they close and you are shot up and down once again. We ended up going on this twice. That stomach-lurching feeling was definitely there, and you had to hold on to all your stuff tight or it'd float in front of you on the way down.

    ... got wee'd on by the dog,(a trick) . Fletch was a bit worried it was real. A short snippet is attached.
    All in all a good day was had at universal studios. It was very handy having the front of line passes so we didn't have to queue for ages. It was an extremely tiring day though.

    Off to Las Vegas tomorrow in a rental car. It will be interesting, especially as the traffic around here is thick as and there are 6 lane freeways. It's only supposed to be a 4 hour drive. See how we ...

    ... holding 8 people. I got an edge seat both times and ended up quite damp but Cilla managed to squeeze her way into a middle seat and stayed dry. Though the ride started off gentle in smooth water, the big mechanised carrying ramp that took us several storeys above the people below didn't let us relax. There was no big drop off the other end, but that was coming! In fact, there were about three drops and the unfortunates who were going down first got the wettest. ...
