Up and away by 8:30am to Disney California Adventure Park today. With our pass we went straight into the park, though had to wait until 9am before the rides opened. It was like a mad rush, though at a walking pace, as one of the rules of the Disney parks is no running!

Anyway we followed the hoards of people to the most popular ride in the park - Radiator Springs Racers. This was situated in Cars Land. We had probably a good half hour if not ...

... show which is an amazing show of synchronised water fountains shooting into the air and coloured lights and Disney films projected on a screen of water spray and music. It is absolutely amazing!! The park closed at 10, the shops in Main Street open for a further hour for the purpose of spending money. At 9:57 we went to pick up ...

... good fun. Love the “Twilight Zone” intro and the spooky story.

Time for lunch. We opted for a quieter spot at Wine Country Trattoria. We enjoyed a nice meal and a few hands of Uno for the wait. Good food, and a shady retreat from the maddening crowds.

With time to kill, we headed to the huge gift shop at the front of the park to look for ornaments. Josie found an Olaf ornament for Cheryl (Cheryl ...

Despite the usual 1am - 3am wake up, we were able to get back to sleep and woke with expectation of our day in Disneyland.

A quick bite for breakfast and we were at the gates of Disneyland at 8am! First ride was Indiana Jones - what a great way to start the day. The highlight of the ride for both of us was the massive boulder rolling towards you (just like in ...
