Day 8 back on the road

We made it to Calvary Chapel Chattanooga's 11AM service and met Kevin and his sister Julie and scratched our heads a bit with pushing the Emotional Aide Dog scam at church. It somehow didn't seem like a good idea. It wasn't roasting out but it seemed like it might get a bit too hot to leave Ricky in the car so Julie, in an act of supreme kindness, offered to take care of Ricky while we went to church.

... strange. And the mall was massive. Before going in we ate at Johnny rockets. We had a really lovely burger and it was a traditional American fast food style bar. We walked right into the lobby which had massive coke bottles designed all over the world. We then went into the loft, we were surrounded by coke artefacts from though out time which was special. The guy who gave us the talk was really funny too. Then we went into the coca cola theatre were they put a 5 min feel good film on. It ...

... including air, car, hotel and GDS suppliers worldwide. Moreover, we understood better the processes of negotiations and the concept of preferred supplier. After that, Hunter gave us a presentation on three competing airlines in the Middle East as part of a supplier relations case study. Our task was to choose, if any, the airlines we should drop as a preferred supplier. Even though the time constraint, we came up with a good solution ...

So, this starts the new blog. My adventure in the USA started on 16Jan14 and this is the start of it.

We arrived safe yesterday evening and got through customs okay. We did have issues going through security in the UK, with 2 of our bags requiring seaches. One for a hard disk drive that I had in it that apparently was big enough to warrant unpacking the whole of the minion suitcase to find it and then more scanning. If I'd known it was big enough to ...
