Nice grounds and great views over the hills. The facilities are basic but what you would expect. No wifi in rooms just the foyer. Lovely restaurant and good breakfast choices.
We could walk into town and eat but avoid the creek bed after dark.

We made it out of desert! (actually it is semi-desert or semi-arid, 70% of the Australian territory is semi-arid). We drove back to Alice Springs from Uluru, with several stops we made in 4,5 hours.
