... The looong journey actually went very quickly. Mar Del Plata is a coastal city located south of Buenos Aires. The coastline reminded us of Portugal, you've got to love the ruggedness of the Atlantic. Although not the ideal time of year for the beach the real reason we came here was to meet up with a British Family who relocated to Argentina, who Shaun met when he travelled here 5 years ago. ... had started enforcing my rule that if I don't know the Spanish word for something I want I can't buy it; I am hoping this will help me improve my vocabulary. I made soup and chickpeas (garbanzos) for lunch. I befriend an Argentinian who didn't speak any English. Google translate is a dream. He took me to a water tower with great view of the city. I met a few of the people staying at the hostel and none of them spoke English. I went out ...

... the common room people will come and they may be nice! No one wears dresses. I took me forever to figure out why people looked at me so strange. I originally thought it was my flip flops but after changing to toms people still looked at me funny. I will spend the next few days searching for a girl in a dress to see if this could be the reason. I am terrible at spanish; People always wanna teach you the swear words; I love scotch ale; Look at the scale of a map to know if it's close or ...
