Not had a whiff of instant since back in Argentina and even
had a filter coffee machine in the apartment, a real treat to wake up to.

Happily it didn’t have the hideous over-powering aroma of
air freshener – everyone here (and in Chile) liberally sprays the stuff around,
all over anyone who happens to be there or has those machines squirting it out
      at regular intervals, even ...

... We were having to acclimatise to later nights, its crazy that the Argentines don't eat their dinner till 9-10pm and don't think about a night out until 2am!!! A massive contrast to the early rises and early nights in Africa.

Finally starting to feel human again we started our travels in Argentina, first stop Mar Del Plata on a 22 hour bus!! The bus was very luxurious compared to African travel but my god did you pay a ...

I often eat one piece of toast with dulce de leche, which is pretty much caramel. I always wonder if the locals judge me for using it because it does not seem normal. I would like to believe they don't because they use it, or else why do all hostels offer it. It was raining and cold so I watched some episodes of bad TV until it cleared up. I headed toward the ...

... when I said I was gonna walk was very shocked; he said my backpack was the weight of another person. Two km later (without even getting lost) I check in. I noticed two bruises on my arm from putting on my backpack, it may be a bit too heavy. Juan said this was the hostel he stayed at when in town; he mentioned it wasn't the best, but did the trick. I met a few of the people staying at the hostel and none of them spoke English. I went out ...

... the common room people will come and they may be nice! No one wears dresses. I took me forever to figure out why people looked at me so strange. I originally thought it was my flip flops but after changing to toms people still looked at me funny. I will spend the next few days searching for a girl in a dress to see if this could be the reason. I am terrible at spanish; People always wanna teach you the swear words; I love scotch ale; Look at the scale of a map to know if it's close or ...
