... beautiful. We were able to see Mt. Tiede, which is the largest point in Spain before the clouds rolled in. Even though the temperatures were in the 70’s, there was snow on top of the mountain. 10/11 we dried out the boat and found the leak in the forward sail locker, so we cleared out the lockers and fibreglassed over the split seam.- and tested the results
11/11 we started on the maintenance ready for the crossing and started to provision the boat with 30 days food (it should be about 18-20 days but we need spare) we also found a lovely beach with a big reef ...

... y viajar atravesando Perú, Bolivia, Paraguay, y estar en Sao Paulo por navidad. Después de esto en unos dos meses (enero y febrero), bajar Argentina hasta Usuhaia, siempre parando en distintos lugares, y subir por Chile, hasta Santiago, desde donde sale mi vuelo a Nueva Zelanda.
Obviamente esto es solo un plan, y seguro que va a cambiar un monton...La mayoría del tiempo viajaré en avión, y cogeré vuelos en algunos tramos siempre que no sean muy caros...

Black Volcanic Beaches and Fishing Villages
... struggled to get her point across in English, but we did get to sample some honey rum and were recommended to a lovely restaurant in the old town of San Andres, where I leisurely ate Spanish tortilla with a chilled glass of La Palma wine.
My last few days on the island I explored the rock pools , went in search of turtles and dolphins and just simply relaxed on the black volcanic beach enjoying the tranquil life that La Palma has to offer.
