... fade I wonder about the huge amount of shops.... you can lose yourself here for several hours very easily....

I was quite well controlled too.... don't ask me why but my only purchase were some new haviananas.... flip flops!!! My current ones are starting to make my the soles of my feet black!!! I know there will be not much use for them when I get back to the UK but they will be used in 2012!!

So it means I can throw away my smelly trainers and save ...

One thing we hadn't thought about was that Singapore
has a tropical climate, so the atmosphere is very
humid and hot.
We were sweating all the time, glancing angrily at
locals in jeans and long sleeves looking all freshen up,
apparently accustomed to the heat!

... setting in, because even once we got to the other terminal, we still had to clear customs and security and then find our gate. We headed back up to the concourse where we explained our predicament to a member of Qantas staff. Luckily she gave us an Express Pass which would hopefully allow us through customs and security really quickly.

... cobbled streets, populated by probably all over 50's minus the odd traveller, the driver - a greying, moustached, Indian man wearing glasses, whistling away and tapping his steering wheel to techno and hard house remixes of western pop music, whilst we ride along picking up and dropping off the odd pensioner or two, not one of them batting an eyelid at it.
