... began to melt down - she hadn't had a funnel cake and her blood sugar plummeted. This, coupled with exhaustion meant we had to find food urgently. ... yummo! Next, the Maharajah Jungle Trek trail to see bats, tigers and birds. Then Kilimanjaro Safari to see giraffes, zebras and rhinos, as well as some other animals. Next stop, Pangani Forest Trail to see hippos, gorillas and naked mole rats. (And more WE badges/stickers) And then onto the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch (mostly indoors and air-conditioned!). ... like rainforest except Jurassic Park themed), Planet Hollywood, Earl of Sandwich and a huge Starbucks with a wine bar. There is even a bowling alley. Once the construction is done the place will be even bigger.

... an hour left, we thought we might try to squeeze in one last ride that usually has long lines. We headed to 'Asia' to ride the kilimanjaro mountain ride. This was quite a large rolllercoaster that took you backwards half way through the ride. We were lucky enough to be able to do this ride twice, the last time at the front. A decision was made, not by me I hasten to add, that as many people as possible in our party of seven should be "celebrating" something, to make this trip just a little bit more special.
It is my 60th Birthday on Friday, which is the main reason for our trip, so I was prepared for and was quite willing to wear the official "happy birthday" badge which Disney provides.
