... see the other end the Toya lake side. The I took the rope art down. On the bottom, the rope way ended with a visitor shopping Souvenir area, so I browsed for 20 minutes the hop on the 420 pm bus back to Toya train station. I decided to go for another Onsen experience at the local hotel. This onsen is so much better and bigger 3 full tubs and 3 outdoor tubs. There is a even a cold tub and anothe r hot tub in the "cave" area. As I tried out the outdoor pools, the cool ...

... There was a steam room as well. I walked past a Japanese man and he muttered something. Maybe he was commenting on my hairstyle. It was Sawan's first time to an onsen. He enjoyed it once he got over the display of/participation in exhibitionism. I jumped right in. I used multiple hairdryers to dry my pants and socks. I hustled Daisy back down to the Noboribetsu JR station where the car rental place was. The gas gauge ...

Sapporo-Chitose is also an International Airport. We flew Vanilla Air from Tokyo to Sapporo and return. A little hard to find the check in counters, but flights were cheap, on time, comfortable and we made it safe and sound. Similar to Jetstar and ...

This was the last leg of our vacation and we decided a little R&R is in order after the Snow Festival. I chose this hotel because of the free transfer from Sapporo Station and free transfer to New Chitose Airport. The check in was seamless. There was a staff in a yellow jacket whom we approached in Sapporo station and she checked our names on her list. We were given a seat number and our room number assignment. When we ...

After an exciting win and celebration last night it was an early morning for my flight to Tokyo. Everything went smoothly and was off the plane and on the train into Tokyo. From there I took a train towards the mountains. I transferred in Nagano on to a smaller local train to a place called Yamanouchi. The train ride was beautiful heading towards the mountains and the fall colors. Hard to take a picture on the bullet train, was getting dizzy at points and I ...
