Who says times square is in New York!!!
... is absolutely amazing, soooo many lights and people! We finished the night with an ice cream whilst people watching! i had magical mintness which had popping candy in it and lucy had caramel ribbon!! yum! We walked around for ages taking it all in! Kareoke bars, resturants and shops!! The biggest Adidas shop ive ever seen too (jealous anyone ;) we ended the night early due to sheer exhaustion and jet lag! but tomorrow is another day!

Sleepwalking in Tokyo
... where we shared 4 dishes, one of which turned out to be pigtoes. I figured out before having a taste though.
Afterwards we went for a nice walk around the back of our neighbourhood in the warm rain - Saw a beautifully lit up shrine, and frequented the vending machines.
That was the highlights of the journey here and the first day, now I need some sleep.

Tokyo - I miss you already!
The final two days in Tokyo were a
little hectic, even though I didn't really plan to much for them to
be that way. Wednesday morning we slept in a little too long and
almost missed our free breakfast! We made it just in time to fill up
before heading to the ward of Harajuku. You may recognize the name
form Gwen Steffani's fragrance line. It's known for it's cutting
edge style and youth culture. Both were on full display when we
got there. ...

... but the Japanese have this amazing ability not to encroach on your space no matter how busy it is. Apart from on the commuter trains that is.
Later on Monday evening we went to Shinjuku. The area of Tokyo I was most excited to see. Just think of the film Blade Runner and that is exactly what Shinjuku is like. Huge skyscrapers, neon lights and people everywhere.
