... fun and explored the area more extensively however. Unfortunately we didn't get a lot of pics while we were there, largely because we thought it would be redundant from the previous entry in the same area. While we were there, we ran into a much larger population of Americans then what we had come across, and oh boy were they the stereotypical Americans. Fat, loud, and obnoxious. We could hear one round young lady proclaim to the district that she wanted a bowl from ...

Getting back to my story, I was now shopping for my own flash drive to have dual sources to store our priceless photos on. Anyway, mission successful, I bought a 16G flash drive and we ...

... in at 7.30 Sunday morning just basically slept until 2 then did more sightseeing, saw the emperor's royal palace, quite impressive although you're not allowed in and just strolled through the parks etc in town looking at a few Government buildings for good measure, and the Japanese equivalent of 5th avenue. Just type in Ginza in any image search engine and you'll see what i mean, neon everywhere. Was back by 7 and onto another Japanese restaurant where you pick your ...

Useful tips for you if you visit Japan

... restriction but I found it hardly affected my journey. 3. The JR Pass is available in different varieties depending on where you are traveling, so if you are traveling only in the east of Japan, you'll be able to purchase a JR Pass East which is cheaper; alternatively if you are traveling across the whole of Japan or most of the main Honshu island, you can purchase the main JR Pass. 4. The JR Pass is also valid on JR bus company routes as well ...

Navigating Around The Largest City in the World

... there! He was very witty and very funny after a sake or two! You are not meant to pour your own sake, so there was a hurry to pour everyone elses after every 'kampai!' or cheers. Traditionally, sake is served hot, but these days you have the choice of hot or cold. We had a deal where we got free non-stop sake and make the most of it. Leanne and I sang 'Umbrella' by the ex Sugarbabe singer, and almost stopped when we realised exactly what we ...

First Day of Work!

... inside. There were a few pieces of yummy sashimi, some pickled vegetables, some fish roe. There was some miso soup, a few pieces of thinly sliced steak on a tiny bamboo skewer, and then a bunch of stuff I didn't recognize. They were very sensitive to the fact that this food might be weird to Westerners and told me please just don't eat what I don't want. I ate everything except about 2 little containers of stuff, one that looked like worms ...

Stor by!

... we headed to Electric City on dad's quest to find a new headset for cheap. Electric City is impressive - the streets are blocked off on Sundays and it's a mass of people looking for good deals on electronics and scantily clad women advertising projects. Some of the costumes were quite colorful. We even witnessed this guy dressed as a king with a drawn on mustache singing "Let it Be" and "Roll Over Beethoven" for the crowd. He was a huge ...
