The land of delivery KFC!!
... up and we had to head back out but our tickets were valid for the whole day so if we wanted to, we could come back for the afternoon feed & try again! Unfortunately, we couldn't as we had already booked on another trip but Dush & the Dutch girl decided they would come back. So there was nothing else to do other than get back on a bus and head back to the city to dry off and get ready for our afternoon trip to the Sarawak Cultural Village.

Our last rainforest (for a while)
... to the peninsula. We met a young German couple on the trail, who were amazed that we had made the climb, which they both considered quite difficult. We usually can do the climbs, we just take about twice the time to do it! Lots of rests on rocks of the right size until natural breathing is restored! LOL

Borneo, Malaysia - In the Jungle,the Mighty Jungle
... to another longhouse called Sibuoyi longhouse, where our host’s mother grew up! Not currently open to visitors which makes the visit more authentic...no souvenirs to buy, nowhere to buy food, just a community going about their day to day lives. Apparently, back in the day, the kids had to trek 3-4 hours down the mountain and the same back up everyday to go to school!

Kuchingin museot
... oli yhdessä museossa vitriinissä karvapallo ja kello, jotka oli löytynyt krokotiilin mahasta. Kroko oli pistellyt yhden miehen poskiinsa jollakin joella jokunen vuosi sitten.
Informaatioähkyn jälkeen olikin hyvä mennä basaareille tuulettumaan ja syömään. Iltapäivällä tuli vielä rentouduttua hotellin altaalla hetki ja seurattua kuinka siellä kuvattiin jotain paikallista ruoka-ohjelmaa.
Illalla olikin taas aika kova ...
