This was our first rainy day! We only got wet walking to dinner.It was a day of train travel. We left Bolzano, Italy at 8am. The train went though the Alps to Brenner Pass. ... the ski bus to take us to Flacaeu for the day, it was a hour drive through heavy snow, so turned into about 2 hour drive, the snow was falling so heavily that all the cars were covered in it driving along the highway and you couldn’t see more then a couple of metres off the side of the road.

... was so deep and powdery that it felt dry and I just wanted to jump in it and have a roll around, so I did.


The skiing was so different to Australia, much steeper runs and no ice or slush. Big bumps and powdery snow up all the sides or big drops into trees. Schnapps in the bar......yucky, like straight metho.
