I'd seen a little of the city then but it has grown in stature since and is more of a financial hub. It laden with foreigners it's not unlikeable though and has a lively atmosphere. Like Berlin there are some amazing smells around the city but also like ...

Another thing not sold in Germany's grocery stores, at least that I could find? Shortening. Then comes the title of the post, my weak attempt at asking the woman in the grocery store if they have corn starch? Turns out it ...

We chatted to the brothers and sisters on our table who were all really friendly and ...

... we zonked out as soon as we took off. I slept intermittently throughout the flight. I wasn't feeling too good when we boarded but after I managed to get a few hours sleep I felt much better. I think it was about an hour into the flight that they fed us another meal - supper - which was pretty much another dinner! I was too tired to think so just got the meal. I didn't eat much more than the meat and the bread roll. I was ...

... get some much needed rest and then went and took a shower which did refresh us. By this time we were getting a little hungry so decided to go to Italian place, Lucullus Nero where you could see some of the planes coming in for a landing. We had a pizza..half salmon/spinach and half veggie along with a lovely glass of wine. The food was delicious and people watching as usual fun.

NOW FOR THE MOMENT OF CRISIS (in my mind of course) ...
