... at Schiphol with a good view of the airport, thankfully our runway was near to the terminal area today so only a shortish taxi time, sometimes it can take nearly 20 minutes from landing to stopping as some of the runways at Schiphol are miles, literally, from the terminals. ... the red light district and told us about the "coffee shops" Amsterdam is famous for. That night we went to a Tibetan restaurant where we were able to order a 3 course meal for two and taste some authentic food. The Anne frank house is also located in the city, but it was very crowded so we did not get the chance to visit.
