      ... at Schiphol with a good view of the airport, thankfully our runway was near to the terminal area today so only a shortish taxi time, sometimes it can take nearly 20 minutes from landing to stopping as some of the runways at Schiphol are miles, literally, from the terminals.       As we found ourselves lost and then found again by recognizing different sites, we got to the red light district and the old cathedral. I went in while the others waited outside for me. It was rather grand with an old wooden ceiling which looked like the inside of a ship. It is no longer used as a church but instead for community projects and arm exhibits.       ... we initially met in Prague & are now in the same town a few days later. After thoroughly experiencing the RLD (for only 2€) we headed home ready for biking tomorrow! - Ari found out the hard way (by getting yelled at by a 'working girl') that phones/photos are not allowed in the district. Don't worry she managed to sneak one. - Annie eating chips and cottage cheese on the floor in the train station draws more strange looks than hookers in the red light district. ...
