... at Schiphol with a good view of the airport, thankfully our runway was near to the terminal area today so only a shortish taxi time, sometimes it can take nearly 20 minutes from landing to stopping as some of the runways at Schiphol are miles, literally, from the terminals. Tour to Marken, Volendam and Edam today. Early start as we were catching a tram to the meeting point and wanted to allow plenty of time. Caught the tram and found the offices of the tour company with plenty of time to spare, even had time for breakfast of hot waffles and coffee, we might even be getting good at this... Hopped on the bus, only to find next pick up point was around the corner from our hotel and we hadn't needed to leave so early and catch the tram !!! ...
