    Today is our last day at this fantastic resort. Our shuttle to the airport is only at 19:30, so we spent the last of our time here soaking in the sun at the beach( our favourite spot, no kids allowed). Soak up the sun we did, I think I went 3 or 4 shades darker. Time to make our way back and spend our last night in Istanbul, then our journey home ...

    ... would have been provided - so we gapped it - and fast! We decided to try and seek out a campsite that had a million advertisements on the side of the road, none of which had any directional advice, but we took a stab at the town next down the coast. It was dark at this stage, we were running out of time, so we stopped for supplies and beer just in case we were successful. Managed to find a campsite in the end, turns out it is beach front at an amazing blue lagoon... But ...

    ... all enjoyed with wonderful friends. Day 5: Again we tried to get into Hvar only to be turned away as the harbour was full so we headed Dalmatian dream back to another favourite place the Pakleni islands and anchored in almost the same place as a few days previous ,only this time we copied boats around us and took lines ashore from the stern.     ... enjoy so much. One of our friends from Turkey had lived in Canada and had great English skills and he described what it’s like to get a haircut. We learned that men don’t just get a hair cut there, but also a head and neck massage, a shave, and plenty of local gossip. Now we understand why there are so many barbershops in every Turkish town.

    Our last day of traveling on the gulet was perhaps my personal favorite. We stopped at Kalekoy, Castle village, ...

    ... our truck clean and an excellent dinner! My tent is like a sweat box at the moment and everything is melting or exploding in my tent – and for those of you who mock the clingfilming – ha ha ha ha…I have saved many things by clingfilming and plastic bagging…!!! So neh neh ne neh neh!!

    A load of our group went out drinking but I was too tired from not sleeping the night before and doing the truck clean. So one beer before bed ...
