... imagine what that must have taken and how weather would have effected their crossing. Yesterday was our granddaughter's birthday. And we're not there .... Which bothers her nana. It began with a trip to gusleme. Ok, that's a tasty pancakey affair - but it includes a beach and if you've got fifty dollars, (pounds, euros or lira work), you can go tandem para gliding. The trip to the top of a mountain resembling Yahk mountain on the coqahalla should be enough ...

... see pic of Harrolds attached. We stopped in for a quick pint at a bar with a Michael Jackson tribute dance act - Owens choice - much to nick's disgust, and my tears of laughter. Got showered with rolls of toilet paper shredded by pressured air tanks at the start of the thriller act too - all very theatrical. What I didn’t like though, were the numerous Europeans that didn’t seem to have any clue how to 'do’ a beach. It was quite hilarious at times and these are some of the things we noted:

... br> We then had a pub quiz – which you can imagine I was brilliant at – NOT! Me, Hilary, Ali and Scott made up my team and the questions were ridiculously difficult and quite frankly we had no clue but somehow didn’t come last despite me writing the most ridiculous answers and us 3 ladies drinking far too much beer (poor Scott chose a bad day to have a dry evening – 3 cackling, drunk witches and I even got into trouble with the ...
