One week, two hangovers.

A travel blog entry by emmawilcox on Dec 08, 2014

... t know how, we talked our way in to joining this party and squeezed ourselves into their cars. They drove us to the club. The club was a bowling alley. With a bucking bronco. And a pool table. It was incredible!!! But no one was dancing and no one danced with me. I ordered bottles of champagne courtesy of the birthday boy, who I'm guessing didn't realise I had put them onto his tab until he came to settle up later that night. I, of course, had left ...

So, I've officially moved to The Alps for around 6 months. It is so cold I can't even believe it and there is no snow. There is also the most fabulous 'Fountain of the Elephants' in the middle of one of the streets. It was sculptured in 1838 to ...

Took the car today, and went for a drive.
Headed north of Chambery and decided to drive around Lake Bourget, and stop at a few towns along the way.
It is very picturesque, and looks a long way on the map.
The towns on the western side, are all very small, with a few vineyards along the way.
We stopped in a few of the towns and had a look around. The weather today ...
