... thru Patterson and Hoboken New Jersey, we saw nothing. Clever, albeit frustrating for the tourist, nonetheless clever. Within the southern confines of New Jersey we joined the 287 and headed into Princeton. A dinner at a Whole Foods, and after checking into out hotel we took a walk along a greenbelt just across a lake from Princeton. We marvelled at the fireflies that lit up the nite, and made our way back to our hotel and called it a night.
... a Starbucks, a bookstore, and a Grain Station. My mom and I tried the Grain Station, which was a place full baked stuff. I got a chicken salad, and apparently, the croutons weren't even croutons. I was expecting them to be crunchy (like all croutons) but no, they were soft! There were basically pieces of bread in my salad. Weird.
... we're in the airport at Newark waiting to board the plane for the LONG flight!
We had a great time in NYC thanks to Mark and Tammy and can't wait to get to Oz!
