      Happy 50th birthday to me!

What a wonderful gift for my birthday, a private tour of Downton Abbey known as Highclere Castle.

I went through the castle and saw bedrooms, the salon, dinning, library and the music room. It is amazing! Walls are covered with embossed leather or rolls of silk cloth, and old Georgian plaster ceilings. From ...

... It says to me that my mind was still trying to process my experiences and my body was saying thanks for not moving. I dressed again, put on my coat and went to find a post office. It was getting late and if I wanted to send off my things then it needed to be done quickly. Today is Friday and I don't know if the Post Office open on weekends. I found it quickly and although the British system is far more security conscious, it was no less helpful. The woman behind the ...

The excitement was still once I stepped inside and of course Paul and I spent most of our visit in the incredibly appetizing but astonishingly expensive food court! They have just about everything from the bakery department to the seafood stalls! While I was salivating checking on all ...

Since I went to bed at 8pm, you'd think I would have woken up really early. No I did not. I slept until 9am. Everyone is still sleeping and it's almost noon. I have no idea if they stayed up late and did things last night or not. I've just been hanging out and going on Facebook all morning and updating my blog. We have been on the go so much that I haven't had time to stop and update. I got to talk to dad this morning for a little bit ...

... getting shorts yesterday, I needed some clothes too. We caught the tube back to Oxford Circus and went into TopMan. We've never visited the one in Sydney. I will say that we both loved this store. The clothing is basic and well priced (We got 4 shirts for $40).

We are now having a nice drink in the bar of the hotel. The internet connection they provide isn't very fast but at least it is free.....
