A travel blog entry by johncowell on Aug 07, 2015

Today Ruth and I took a canoe on the lake. We wanted to explore it more close to the coast. It was great fun apart from the burden on your shoulders. After an hour of paddling, our shoulders and forearms were worn out. We then had a relaxing afternoon by the pool, followed by a last supper at home before moving on to ...

Even the rain that battered the train and the angry ocean couldn't make a dent in my excitement as we crossed the long bridge on our approach to Venice. It rained on and off throughout the day and for the last couple of hours our lazy strolling around the city quickly transformed into frenzied scampering from shelter to shelter as it began to storm. However no weather could ruin the beauty of this ...

    Day 42 (Milan)

... better than my Italian). She's currently studying medicine (had her second last exam before meeting us) and wants to specialise in neurosurgery. After lunch and a cold drink she took us on a big walking tour. It was so beautiful but I couldn't take photos because I'm out of storage on my phone. Nim took lots though so wait for them. After our big walk around we went back to our car and drove up to alba's ...
