There isn’t much to report from yesterday. It was basically a rest day that involved wandering around Morbegno’s streets as well as running a few personal errands.

Dinner was with Marina’s cousins again for more magnificent home-made food. This time it was some succulent turkey & chicken with chips, followed by bread, cheese & salami, and then a home-made tira misu. This was of course followed by a healthy serving ...

... she then complained she couldn't see anything except peoples backs. Hmm, lady you are standing with your back to a window - if you turn around you will be able to see the view like everyone else! It was a bit unfortunate that the weather had turned a bit. The normal haze we have been experiencing had become very thick during lunchtime so the view was not as spectacular as it could have been, but it is still very good. And we could imagine what the view without haze would be. At the ...

... quite a while and it was very hot but eventually we made it to duomo (the huge gothic church in Milan's centre) and after a bit of searching found Fabio and these two girls who were students of his who he'd asked to show us around (a strange idea but a good one). The girls took us to the modern art museum and we got in for free somehow. The museum was good and the girls actually knew something about art but we spent more time just talking to them (their English was great and one had ...
