Walked into town and had my haircut. A great feeling to have it cut after so long. Then to the bakery to say hi to Eva. We went for a walk in the afternoon to the Makkum beach and a quiet beer. ... She had the Frisian flag hanging from the balcony, and had made a little welcome sign for us. After a cup of coffee in their front room, which overlooked the boats in the canal, we had a look upstairs at family photos, then headed to our hotel to drop our bags and have dinner. So this hotel, apparently some Dutch queen used to live there, and now it's a hotel.
