We had delicious chicken noodles for dinner with a few beers, and headed to bed exhausted from the climb. I think this day will turn out to be a highlight of the trip - solitude and amazing views make the perfect (and unusual) combination. I cannot recommend this independent side trip to Huanghua Cheng enough to adventurous travelers!
