This post is mainly dedicated to my beautiful sisters, Sarah
and Lauren who sent me a very nice birthday package. It was a nice surprise as
I had completely forgotten that they were going to send it, so when Wendy came
home from school and gave it to me I was all smiles. They sent me a letter, a
beautiful card, some nice smelling stuff for my hair and stickers for the
students which I’m sure they ...

that it worked. The cake itself was a bit bland but the apples sweetened it and
gave it a nice flavour. I am still unable to find any vanilla essence or
anything remotely similar but I am keeping an eye out. Had a nice relaxing rest
of the afternoon reading harry potter which Alina has leant to me (thank
goodness!!) it’s nice having something to read again. ...

would do in Australia whenever this happens I often feel a sense of guilt. This
was one of these moments. As the guy invited Adrian and thus three others he
then had to pay for four meals altogether which I don’t think he was expecting.
After explaining that Katrin was vegetarian, the guy told us that this was a
“fried tofu” stand anyway so it didn’t matter. When they were ready he ...

... sandwich wrap things… lots of weird Chinese stuff all of which the
kids were preparing. Despite the chaotic nature of the whole thing it was pretty
amazing that they managed to do all that stuff without complete adult
supervision. After walking around for a while and being harassed into buying
some of the less dodgy food, I was about ready to go back home. I only had one
class later this afternoon so I was keen to get home and relax before that. The
          festival ...

CRDC-Qingdao (Caterpillar Research & Development Center) hosted a fall family outing (~ 50 people) to enjoy the Grape Festival on Da Ze Mountain.
