Now having worked up an appetite, we headed to the hotel to check in and find some dinner-not goat hooves! Eddy guided us to a delicious Chinese restaurant. The name was prominently displayed in English so we did not have a challenge to find it this time. So today was a very special day. I stood on the great wall and couldnt actually believe we were there. Its one of the wonders of the world, get goose bumps just remembering it!

Tomorrow Alex and I will start sniffing and burping too - if you cant beat 'em, join 'em surely?!

... ve seen so far and though it has a couple of nice parks, I can't say there's anything that makes it worth visiting. It was the first time on our trip and in China in general that I didn't want to leave our hotel room.

I may be exagerrating a little, though. After running around like chickens with our heads cut off trying to buy either bus or train tickets to Dunhuang (where we are now), we went to the Gansu ...
