This was followed by a bus trip ...

Very polluted today, although the sun is trying to break through, and at least the rain has stopped.

We decided to get the ferry across the Yangtze and visit Hubuxiang Food Street for noodles again, and then try and get to the Baolong Temple.

However, our plans changed when we discovered the temple close to the Holiday Inn, the Temple to Lord Lu, which turned out ...

We got up and took a taxi to Guiyuan Temple, which was enormous. We thought at first that the main temple was being renovatd but then found other areas on the site. There is a tradition that you enter the Temple of Arhats (small models of Buddhas) where there are over 500 Buddhas and you start counting from wherever you entr until you get to your birth year. You then make a note of the number and they print off your horoscope on a little gold ...
