... explained, the game went on. We were marking off numbers and was getting close to having 2 numbers left on our card, when you get 1 number left, you have to sand up, so it was starting to get exciting. Someone started to stand, then another one and just when we got another number meaning we could stand, someone said Bingo, so our game over and the prize was US$500, would have been great to win, lucky lady who won! Next we had a wander through the promenade ...

... ready:) Of course, little did we know that the rest of the crew was looking for us and our leader, Mr. Lu called the park people to look for two American women with a Chinese boy...but we made it down. Apparently...we went the wrong way...felt pretty right to the two of us. We were pretty damn proud of ourselves, anyway. The rest of the crew got to go to the glass overhang...all set with that!

Overall, the trip to Ningde was a highlight. It is not a place which I'd encourage visitors to China to see, but having lived here for a few years, I found it fascinating. It emphasised for me that I get much more value and satisfaction out of visiting a destination like this than I ever will from travelling to the major tourist destinations. Move over Xi'an, I'm looking for something more interesting.
