Besides the regular stressors of finishing work, marks, narratives, collecting books and PD reports, we had a fun Spirit Week and dressed up for a different theme each day –my class won 3rd prize beat out by those darn keen 4 and 6 year olds! ... me doing an individual oral exam with all 450 of my students. I've had 3 open lessons this week with Grade 4 and Grade 1, which involves the parents watching - I was nervous beforehand but they were just like normal lessons really! The students for the most part have been doing well in the test so I'm happy.

Last Saturday we went to a Chinese tea which one of the staff organized. It’s a very popular thing to do and the best tradition we’ve come across this year!
