... the tray and put it on the table, but beyond that, he didn't seem to actually do very much.

I guess I have got used to the staring, but this was more intrusive than I have had for a long time, so we were quite pleased when he went away near the end.

Later that day we went up the Canton tower, as it was a lovely clear day and the air looked clean.

... I told them that would had as a soup in NZ, and could easily be the whole meal. It was rather large, and filling, but very good. Not sure why we don't have it as a hot drink, really - would be better for us than coffee?

They told me I need to go back and look around in the daytime - the universities are arranged in 3 circles, and you can hire a bike to go between them as the area is pretty big. Lots of parks, and a big lake in the middle, so I will have a look one day soon.

... so I said ni hau back - you should have seen his face!!!! I always tell them I can't speak Chinese, and he couldn't get over the fact that I had said it quite naturally to him! He told all the others as they came in - teacher can speak Chinese! All said in Chinese, and I know enough to understand that!

Anyway, once the class had arrived, I sat up straight in my chair, and the 2 new teachers started. They did a perfect imitation of me! Who wants to try? ...

Guangdong Province is my hometown. Many Chinese major cities locate here, such as Dongguan and Guangzhou. They are on the high rank of the top wealthiest cities in China. ... this year is a wide range of heavy rains and strong convection simultaneously hit Guangdong. The main reason is due to the recent warm and humid southern China by the strong southwesterly flow control, providing a stable energy and water vapor, with frequent small stocks weak cold air southward, Guangdong frequent cold air over the intersection.
