... find in Daegu is completely perplexing. I turn down a street not far from my hostel. It appears that part of this road has been torn up and requires repaving. How long ago this happened one can only guess but as I approach the unpaved portion a small sand and rocky area is visable and then the road way turns into something cushy. Also I was determined to bring my ramen noodle packets and noodle bowl to use in Budapest as I have to live here for a month so still need to cook meals. With the weight issues it ended up in the boxes to be shipped home.
