... Just a few minutes earlier I got to the shoreline just in time to hear the singing start behind the small restaurant that sold fresh, raw fish. Perhaps 'chant' would be a better description of their a cappella ritual. Soon three women came to the ocean with a buoy, a net, a SCUBA hood and mask. The Jeju Women Divers chanted and rhythmically moved their nets as if pulling in a huge catch.

I had decided on an early night but as I had almost fully recovered from the previous evening I couldn't resist the offer to go for Korean BBQ with two guys from the hostel. It is just so yummy! Thin strips of meat that you grill at the table and then fold into leaves with onions and hot sauce and garlic. Also you get unlimited side dishes. Kimchi, pickled radish, pasta in mayo and omelet. I decided to take a wander through Chinatown and had a wonderful time exploring the alleys and shops. I bought a few food items and plan to go back tomorrow to explore more thoroughly. What fun!
