Clean & tidy, desk staff not so helpful. Wi-Fi no good.

Cleaning staff do a great job. breakfast was great, showers ridiculously small, beds mad of rock, rooms clean and tidy. All up not a bad spot but a little bit out of town. 30 minute walk to town. Our room advertised as wi-fi but not possible in our room.

After noon we hop on another train to Modena, a short 20 minute train ride from Parma. We are in the hometown of tenor Luciano Pavarotti and automobile company founder Enzo Ferrari.

... the bus with all that fresh air can really give you an appetite. We go back to our little alley and try another little bar because their menu has tortelloni, another dish that Bologna is famous for. I order tortolloni con burro e salvia--with butter and sage. OMG! There are no words. The photo is a humble attempt. When I tell Bill over lunch what a great time I'm ...

I also had the chance to catch up with fellow grape harvester, Fidele who is still in town! The short visit allowed me to get my farm fix, fill up my stash of hand-crafted balsamico as well as realize that this certainly won't be my last trip back! Baci, baci Anna and Mauri! ...
