At the hotel, the girls all went upstairs to hang out at the pool and I crawled into bed and had an amazing post 42 degree sun nap! My headache told me I was definitely suffering from mild heat stroke! What a scorcher!

... that became 5 became one. This one guy was really up for partying and called a cab to find the action. Rune and I were closer to home at this point and we strolled through town back home. It was the warmest it had been all day at 21 degrees celsius, 69 degree fahrenheit, and no wind. I really enjoyed the walk in Valencia's wee hours. It was nice to walk through town with its old churches, cobble stone ground, stores, bars closing up, and the calm of the night.
This morning, we had a swim in the pool before we had to check out. From here we drove onto Valencia. This is where we would drop off our car and meet up with our friends that were joining us for the Water and Wine festival and La Tomatina.

... classic Simpsons line cannot be used in some scenario but never did I think I could use "My eyes! The goggles do nothing" but nothing could have been more apt. The first 5 minutes were a complete nightmare. My eyes were totally ******, the goggles steamed up and were useless. Slightly less importantly, a girl had instantly hit the deck and was out cold next to me. Whether she slipped or was hit with a really hard/big tomatoe I am unsure.

I wish I had more exciting information about this mornings tour but I'm either tired or I just wasn't that excited about the Black Madonna. So now we're headed back to Barcelona for lunch and then a visit to Guadi's Sagrada Familia.
