No sport this week, for anyone, as, during exams, the school thinks it is better for no sport. So just when I was getting into the swing of both water polo and tennis, its all over. ... and cold running water, sometimes solar heated. Even in the dry season, we had no water restrictions, there was plenty of hot water, and we could keep ourselves and our underwear clean without problem.

All the camps except Chapungu had complimentary laundry service for everything but bras and underpants. Chapungu and the hotels had typical per-item charges for laundry. The need to wash your own underwear is a "cultural" issue. Laundry is generally done ...

... financial district of Johannesburg. The hotel was connected to a large shopping mall that had everything and our room looked down on Nelson Mandela Square. The mall and the area we stayed was the go-to part of Sandton. Unfortunately we didn't have much time to venture out. We did have a couple great meals near at Nelson Mandela Square and the value was great.

... a laugh and they loved the fact that we were from Australia. We were joking around with them and they bought us drinks etc as we chatted. It was hilarious. We decided to have food there in the end and ordered some wine as well, then we joined I'd new friends and got a bigger table. The drinks flowed and the heads started spinning.
