... agreed that it was a good effort indeed.

Whilst swimming one afternoon I had an encounter with the bottom of the pool, scraping my face and elbow to the point of bleeding. I quickly exited the pool to see that I had taken the skin off the scar on my elbow that was the result of Silver Duke of Ed Bike Riding... Good one...

... and after a good breakfast got a taxi to the Home Affairs Office in Central .Johannesburg just to confirm that we would have all the relevant documentation ready for our trip to the South African Embassy in London next week. ... a new visa. Therefore I will stay at a hostel somewhere nearby the embassy and hopefully be able to check out Johannesburg a little further.

The lack of customer service seemed to be an issue. Obtaining a SIM card was quite a process as no one could tell me how much it costs per minute to make calls. After talking to about 5 different people, someone finally took the time to answer my questions. At least I now have a cell phone.
