... IS WEDDING RING!!!
We went back to the pool (we hadn't been there for almost 12 hours!!) as he had commented on how it felt kind of loose when he was in water and it had almost come off a few times. It must have come off when he was throwing me in or throwing the ball....but it was not there anymore! We put signs up at the pool and after just over a week we still hadn't heard a thing. We looked everywhere else back home but ...
Today we got our plate for the truck in the mail!!! This means we are pretty much good to go whenever.
We also parked up downtown, had some lunch, then walked around a lot. We saw a few different parks which were mostly empty and the grass had seen better days - it's been so humid that most of the yards here are starting to struggle a bit.
Today we didn't have a whole bunch planned except to take Ashley to Debrands to join us on their tour as a little congratulation on no more college!!
We did a few little things like get Darrens watch fixed (at last after months of it being broken!). Next we drove to South Wayne to see the house that Mum and Dad used to live in and also Steve lived there after too. It is up for sale and we kind of joked about buying it as it's ...
... let down was a sign we read whilst paying to get in….the Australia section was closed for updating etc (it closed yesterday!!!) So this meant no kangaroos, Tasmanian devils, reptile house etc…really sucked but still plenty to go see.
They have an Africa section, Indonesia section and a building called The Reef with fish. Along the way we saw many types of monkey and ape, red panda, komodo dragon, HONEY BADGER, Lions, Wallabies, ...
... so tried to get some pictures without being too intrusive!
Darren also wanted to visit 'Sweetwater' which is a HUGE music retailer. We walked in and right in front of us as part of a display was a VW split screen! We looked around the store at all of the guitars and then walked around the rest of the building. It was a way bigger place than we expected but a huge part of that is warehouses and offices for staff. It looked like a sweet place ...
