These pictures are from me trying to take a photo of myself writing with my ancient feather pen from the Alicante market and from walking around Alicante on a tour of the the two cathedrals, San Nicolas y Santa Barbara.

... pretty amazing since it was pretty expensive I bet to feed like 20 plus people. I tried some authentic Spanish jamón y queso and lots of other dishes that they didn't tell us the names of! Frustrating! One was really interesting it was a boiled egg that was fried in a batter and served. At first I thought it was a chicken nugget then I thought it was fried cheese then I realized there was yoke.

... consists of three countries". So, in my English accent i played along and said "I am English". He said " they don't teach you things like that in uni, but its important". Agreeingly, I replied "well, I have been to uni and they certainly did not teach me that". He then said that the best way to keep your passport safe is to bury it. Well after loosing the coke bottle in the sand this certainly wasnt an option for me. However, it may be an idea to buy Alex a shovel.

... made more funny when Miguel came down and she realised it was him. Awesome we are actually meeting people again. Once we got everyone together (including a few more recruits bringing the total to 11) we headed toward the town centre to find some decent clubs. Obviously during the two hour walk there many funny things happened including when a hooker tried to pull Alex2's pants down ...

... odd receptionists we actuially managed to book ourselves a room each with en suite facilities for 7 euros. Unbelievable. I cant tell you how amazing it was to have this luxuory. Right, well lets make the most of this and shave, maybe we will meet some people. And so we did. First of all I can´t believe we actually survived the night. Whats more is that the lizards and cockroaches running around didnt go near me. Thats a good start.

Never see famous people in England , yet you cycle 1500 miles to a supermarket in the middle of Spain you find Tony Robbinson. Amazing. Then we ate big food ...

... Küsten. Patrick führt mich zielstrebig zu den schönsten und sehenswertesten Flecken, die diese Stadt zu bieten hat. Der Hafen ist erstklassig - seht selbst!

Ich höre den ganzen Tag Englisch - ja es gibt sogar englische Pubs und englisches Essen. Es ist nur ziemlich heiß, schon beim schleichenden Gehen breche ich in Schweißescapaden aus-uff!

Aber gut, das war sicher noch kühl - im August 09 erlebt Spanien eine Hitzewelle - es hat immer über 40 Grad!

De los pequeños detalles que tuvo el viaje a los Saltos de Mocona además de que las vistas no fu**on la maravilla esp**ada es que para llegar hasta ahí es toda una desventura y para salir de la población pues lo mismo hay que jugar con una s**ie de combinaciones con los autobuses para que te coincida bien, y siempre cabe la posibilidad de que no te coincida bien y te quedes colgado en algún sitio como San Vicente, donde llegamos a las 5 de la tarde y hasta las 4 de la tarde del día ...
